This study aims to measure the awareness levels of health hazards and its managerial procedures related to the usage of chemicals and common procedures in a beauty salon.

Materials and methods: A semi-structured questionnaire assessing the awareness and factors influencing the use of cosmetics was used to collect data. All the workers working in the Unisex Beauty parlors within the field practice area of PSG hospitals were assessed and the data were analyzed statistically.

Results: The Study is ongoing and the descriptive statistics will be expressed in percentage. Chi-square will be used for analysis
