Abstract
Background WHO (2017) stated about domestic violence against Women about 35% of Women. Whereas abortion in pregnancy after domestic violence is also significant, therefore the purpose of this systematic review was to assist magnitude of abortion of domestic violence in South East Asia .
Material and Methods We utilized PubMed, OVID, and CINHAL as search engines to identify articles published that focused on the domestic violence experience of pregnant Women in South East Asia. We first removed duplicate articles and then filter the articles based on over inclusion criteria.
Result The search of domestic violence articles published between 2006 - 2016 yield 2864 articles. But after exclusion and inclusion the 7 articles on domestic violence with pregnancy and abortion in South East Asia Region were selected. The analysis involved data on 18133 samples included in 7 studies with 95% CI: 5.151 – 5.146 and OR = 4.46.
Conclusions This study show, domestic violence in pregnancy and abortion has significant association. But found that in South Asia Region few articles available on this due to poor women social security.
