IMPLEMENTATION CHALLENGES OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE PREVENTION ON CHILDREN IN PAYAKUMBUH CITY YEAR 2018

Abstract


Background

Prevention of sexual violence in the industry revolution 4.0 requires adjusting the way of thinking in overcoming it. Sexual violence in Payakumbuh city increased from year to year. The same cases also occurred in various regions in Indonesia. Protection and prevention of child sexual abuse cases has been implemented by the Integrated Service Center for Women and Children (P2TP2A). The purpose of the research to see Implementation Challenges Of Sexual Violence Prevention On Children In Payakumbuh City

Materials and methods

This research method is qualitative  conducted in P2TP2A in year 2017-2018. The data were taken through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion, observation and document review, with informants based on purposive sampling.

Results

This results found the officers is suffient, funds and infrastructure facilities are still lacking. Primary prevention like giving junior and senior hight scholl not all schools. Secondary prenvention is not good yet, such as early detection of cases, counseling and handling of victims of violence. Health is physically, mentally, socially and spiritually healthy, a challenge health field of this issue. Primarily not limited to children, but also teachers and parents, and begins as young children are adapted to technological developments.

Conclusions

Advancement of industrial revolution 4.0 a challenge of changing fixt mind to future   mind set in prevention of sexsual violence. P2TP2A less promotion  and need  expance scope with all schools, all institutions,  teachers and all parents. Innovation skill in the expansion of goals, delivery techniques.. Local governments make policies,  adequate budgets, active role of relevant agencies including Health institution.
