Abstract


BackgroundOne third of the 37 million people living with HIV world wide are infected by latent TB, in which people with latent TB are at risk 26 times (24-28) to become patients with active TB WHO estimates the number of TB-HIV co-infected patients as many as 14 million people, the largest cases found Sub-Saharan Africa and 3 million cases found in Southeast Asia. The purpose of this research is to know descriptiom of HIV-TB coinfection at RSPI-SS in 2011-2016.  
Materials and MethodsDesign of cross sectional studies using secondary data. Population of all patients of HIV-TB Co-infection at RSPI-SS Year 2011-2016. Samples size is 160 with ramdom sampling technique.

The result Age 18-35 years old 112 (70%) Age > 35 years old 58 (30%), Male 125 (78.1%) Female 35 (21.09%), Middle educationn 125 (78,1%) Height education 35 (21,9%), Status Married 109 (68,1%) Not Married51 (31,9%), Working 129 (80,6%) Not Working 31 (19,4%), Access to Easy Health Facilities 96 (78.8%) Hard 64 (40%), Decrease Weight =>7 kg 87 (54,4%) Decrease Weight =<7 kg 73 (45,6%),  Clinical HIV Stadium 3 and 4 112 (70%) Clinical HIV Stages 1 and 2 48 (30%), There were opportunistic infections 120 (75%) No opportunistic infections 40 (25%), CD4 values ​​≤ 350 cells / mm3 Before ARV 151 (94.4 %) CD4 value ≤ 350 cells / mm3 Before ARV 9 (5.6%), CD4 value ≥ 350 cells / mm3 6 months after ARV 115 (71.9%) CD4 value ≤ 350 cells / mm3 6 months after ARV 45 ( 28.1%) and Who Received Prevention of Cotrimoxazole (PPK) 139 (86.9%) Who Did Not Get Preventive Treatment for Cotrimoxazole (PPK) 21 (13.1%).

Conclusions

In general the characteristics of HIV-TB Infection are Age 18-35 years 112 (70%), Male Sex 125 (78.1%), Middle educationn 125 (78,1%), Status Married 109 (68,1%), Working 129 (80,6%), Access to Easy Health Facilities 96 (78.8%), Decrease Weight =>7 kg 87 (54,4%), Clinical HIV Stadium 3 and 4 112 (70%), Clinical HIV Stadium 3 and 4 112 (70%), There were opportunistic infections 120 (75%), CD4 values ​​≤ 350 cells / mm3 Before ARV 151 (94.4 %), CD4 value ≥ 350 cells / mm3 6 months after ARV 115 (71.9%) and Who Received Prevention of Cotrimoxazole (PPK) 139 (86.9%). It is recommended to RSPI-SS that the need for improved services in HIV and DOTS TB Working Group as well as BB measurement for nutritional status of HIV / AIDS patients.
