Abstract


Background.

STDs are the gateway of the Incereasing of HIV and AIDS in Indonesia. The main factor of STDs is the sex behavior of the mobility population. Sex behavior and the relief efforts on STDs are still unpropper among key population group will accelerate the occurrence of transmission and healing for the sufferers .

Materials and Method.

This study is a qualitative approach using in-depth interview techniques.

Results

The first is lack of sexual behavior among key populations, knowledge of STDs  is not well understood, had multypartners sex, lack of  understanding of prevention of STDs.The second is relief efforts in STDs handling among key populations have been carried out by those who experienced it and still act traditionally which information is obtained from among them or based on myths spread among them.

Conclusion. The lack of understanding of STDs is still happened among key population and need to be improved comprehensively especially in the young and sexually active population groups, with appropriate and effective education, high-risk sexual behavior occurs among key population. Relief efforts and handling  are still have not done as they should.
